I created Digital Negative Studio after wanting to explore the world of Alt Process printing, but finding it necessary to subscribe to expensive general purpose photo editing programs purely to create digital negative. Not only that, but plugins and scripts were often needed to create the perfect result.

I wanted to build something that made Alt Process printing more accessible to all and as professional software developer with years of darkroom experience, i found myself well placed to create an application that contained all the tools needed to quickly and easily create high quality Alt Process Negatives. Its been huge learning experince but almost a year later im ready to release the first version Digital Negative Studio.

So much more is planned for the future and i hope that you will join me on this journey by not only buying a copy of Digital Negative Studio but also providing valuable feedback in order to make Alt Process printing simpler for everyone.
