Using the Ink Colour Calibration Tool

Step by step guide

Some printers contain inks that block UV light in varying amounts, if you are having trouble getting expected results from your negatives, Ink Colour Calibration may help.

1. Open the ink colour calibration grid

Open the ink colour grid using Calibration > Load Asset > Ink Colour Calibration Grid

2. Save and Print the grid

3. Scan the result and open in Digital Negative Studio

4. Crop the image

In order for calibration to be successful we need to crop the image at the dotted border

5. Run the calibration process

6. Use the monotone tool to apply the calibrated colour to an image
