Its sometimes necessary to export an rgb or cmyk image as individual channels, for example when making a Gumprint.
Digital Negative Studio makes this process easy.
1. Open the file and apply any ajustments
Open the file using File > Open or Ctrl + O.
Apply any adjustments, here i have inverted the image and applied a curve.
Tip: Its important not to desaturate at this point as the channels will be the same.
Tip: Adding registration marks can help with alignment.
2. Preview export
Preview the export using File > Export image as individual channels.
3. Save the results
Click Export.
You will be prompted to save each file, for convince these are prefixed with the channel name, for example Negative_Red_ or Negative_Cyan_ by default.
